day 7

Went back to work today after being off for 6 days. Man I think I need a vacation after the holidays. It is rough going to work after being off so long. I actually had to get up and put on dress clothes for the day. I think I enjoy being a "non-worker" because I did not have to think about what to wear. Sweatshirts and sweatpants just automatically go together, Although, I did feel better about myself today as I put on something other than sweats even though it was a chore.

Monday Dec 1 - not much to report today. Did a little grocery shopping with my daughter. Looked for a new pair of glasses for her. It is amazing that fashion starts so young and that we had to find a pair of glasses that were "in style". This goes along with clothing I guess. Hope everyone is doing well with their projects.

I did in the end decide to give up my favorite Jeans but other than getting mad at myself for not going back to the gym so my other jeans would fit, it is not that eventful. I think that I might try the gym a couple of more time this week. Not a good time to start being the holidays and all.

Sunday Nov 30 - - Steeler game today......Everywhere you go all you see is people in Steeler Jerseys.....All the employees at the grocery store wore their favorite player. This area shows their sports enthusiasm by there clothing. You can go just about anywhere in the USA and you will see Steeler Jerseys. You can tell a persons sports preference by their clothing attire..

Sat- Nov 29 ------anohter day at the mall......whole family there getting pictures. All dressed in the same....jeans with white t-shirts. Felt as if some people were stairing when we were away from the picture studio, kind of different to see 10 people all dressed the same and hanging out together.....But this was a reaction that was expected, they did not know our message and probably came to their own conclusion of some sort.

Friday Nov 28 - Black Friday ----Shopping day.......Ended up at Walmart to see about Christmas present and to food shop for another family get together. Most people just has on jeans and sweatshirts....People on a mission with nothing else on their minds.....I wore jeans and a sweater just like everyone else. Later that night went to light up night down town Beaver, you could tell by the clothing that it was cold outside everyone was bundled up with coats, hats scarves, and mittens. If you were inside looking out you could tell by the clothing that it was cold outside. Also a lot of people had holiday clothing on as well....season of good cheer has arrived. The clothing has told me a lot about the people and the season so far today.

Thursday Nov 27 - Thanksgiving day.....Happy Thanksgiving everyone......Today was a day of comfortable clothing so that everyone that came to eat could take advantage of an expanding wasteline in their pants. We were somewhat dressed up but still casual for a family get together.

Wednesday Nov 26, 2008-----Instead of giving up my favorite medium as we were suppose to, I chose to people watch for clothing everywhere I went because giving it up is socially and legally incorrect. I suppose living without the restrictions of clothing would make some aspects of life easier but unfortunately it does not happen that way. Wednesday I went to the gym where everyone was dressed in sweats or exercise clothing, giving the message of either dedication or like me at least somewhat interested in getting in shape but it could of been just meeting new people as well, you can never tell. Beacuse I had the correct clothing it gives you a sense of belonging.
